This presentation will familiarize beginning to intermediate users with the resources designed to advance both evaluation and assessment efforts within the study abroad site. In addition, this session will explore potential enhancements to the application process created within the Learning Content and Assessment areas. The tools provided within the Terra Dotta Studio Abroad software allow users to construct meaningful evidence that support the continued improvement of programs and overall student preparedness. Users who do not currently use these features and those wanting to learn more about assessment and evaluation in general will find this session most beneficial. The exploration of these resources will continue with a review of some of the best practices relating to both evaluation and assessment. More specifically:
In this session, Indiana University of Pennsylvania will enhance your awareness of Terra Dotta Assessment & Evaluation Resources and explore applicable theory related to evaluation and assessment of International Education programming. The primary audience for this session will be beginner and intermediate users tasked with administrative privileges related to the development of the Terra Dotta Software within their respective institutions. This session will also incorporate knowledge management techniques applicable to Terra Dotta Power-Users and prospective clients. Users who currently do not use these features will find this session most beneficial; however, all levels are welcome to provide input.
